P is for pyjamas and Peter Alexander!

For as long as I can remember, my Mum has lovingly sought a pair of pyjamas for me for Christmas.
The joke in my family though is that I rarely receive them as they never seem to fit and Mum always has to return them!
Buying plus size pyjamas is extremely difficult. Many brands simply just don’t do them! When you are lucky enough to find them they are often ill fitting or the only thing on offer is large over sized t-shirts with characters from the 80’s printed on them!
Over the last year or so Target’s Belle Curve label has released a sleepwear range – I’ve been lucky to acquire great basics made of viscose which are extremely comfortable.
This Christmas however I wanted to point Mum in a different direction. I was determined to find pyjamas that provided a stylish look for bed time and made me feel confident and good in what I was wearing.
I’ve always admired Peter Alexander’s sleepwear range from afar but was delighted to discover he now designs for women of all sizes.
The sizing of Peter Alexander’s range is +1 (16-18), +2 (20-22) and +3 (24-26) – fantastic recognition that not everyone fits into the size 8 – 16 mould.
The collection fits within the iconic Peter Alexander look and even features penny the daschound, Peter’s dog!
When in store with Mum I was lucky enough to meet Peter himself and a number of daschound’s all dressed in Peter’s pyjamas!
I absolutely love my new sleep shorts – they are so pretty and best of all they make me feel body confident!
